Along with an upgrade from Magento Enterprise 1.8 to 1.14.1, Something Digital redesigned Papyrus’s ecommerce site using a custom responsive theme and improving accessibility using the WCAG 2.0 guidelines. With the redesign new features were integrated including Ajax multi-select filtering, one-step and multiple address checkouts, and the ability to link in-store loyalty program memberships to user accounts online.
An innovative customizer was developed that allows shoppers to design personalized cards and invitations. Using React and Fabric.js, the customizer provides an intuitive User Interface (UI) with easy-to-use tools for selecting fonts, paper, envelopes, motifs, photography, and decorative elements when purchasing custom printing products. The interactive onsite app invites customers to become the designers and shows them what their personalized invitations and announcements will actually look like in real-time.
