As an organization whose mission it is to craft images, SKD Knickerbocker understood the importance of putting your best foot forward online. The group approached SD to redesign their site to highlight some high-profile work, including the Obama presidential campaign and Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s mayoral bid. The group was looking for a site that generated greater awareness of SKD services and engaged users in an elegant and approachable way.

The new SKDK.

SD Interactive worked with SKD Knickerbocker to develop a comprehensive creative brief that acted as a project blueprint and incorporated best practices from web design and strategy. Our team helped lead users through SKDK’s story, delivering an inviting, uplifting site that incorporated clean lines, large imagery, simple navigation, and soft, bold typography.

After the redesign, SD has continued to perform ongoing maintenance, frequent updates, and support, ensuring quality performance and maximum uptime. In 2010, Squier Knapp Dunn merged with its New York City counterpart, Knickerbocker SKD. The team at SKDK reached out to SD to perform all the necessary updates to introduce their new brand. In 2010, SKD Knickerbocker also called on us to design an eNewsletter for an online marketing campaign designed to generate awareness and excitement around SKDK’s work. SD’s ability to convert ideas into action has helped SKDK tell countless stories and inspire action on behalf of their clients.
