    Mobile Tech Tracker

Silverlight, Interactive, Software, UX and UI design

    Global connectivity.

IPC Systems is a global financial trading technology and connectivity corporation. With multiple offices all over the world, IPC provides network solutions to businesses in over 200 countries, providing access to the information and technologies required to compete in the rapidly changing financial services world.

    Asset management.

With over 153,000 dealerboards deployed worldwide, it is critical that IPC maintain tight trouble ticket controls and keep clients connected. Dispatchers needed to quickly assign a technician to a client site and feel confident that his or her skills matched the problem. They also needed an overview of current field technician allocations, outstanding trouble tickets, and new trouble tickets awaiting assignment.

    A centralized communications hub.

SD built a custom .NET Tech Tracker application to manage all aspects of dispatching—from technician skill-set to ticket status. We built a user-friendly map interface that accounted for technical resources in the field. Our platform was built to integrate with existing infrastructure and legacy systems to ensure smooth, company-wide rollout. Outfitted with GPS-enabled handheld devices, the locations of IPC technicians are now visible to dispatchers at all times. This communications lifeline dramatically improved response times for clients and efficiency for IPC.

    Continued engagement.

IPC continues to use the Tech Tracker platform to manage resources and improve response times to client trouble tickets. For more than five years, SD and IPC have continued to collaborate on a variety of Software and development projects.
