Essential Experience
• Ability to communicate directly with clients to identify requirements, define solutions, and identify opportunities.
• Ability to communicate the business value of SharePoint technologies
• Demonstrated experience and competency with general .Net Framework / C# development. This includes the development of ASP.Net web applications, the use of standard data access technologies (ADO.Net, LINQ, Entity Framework).
• Experience developing applications for Microsoft SharePoint products and technologies. This would include SharePoint server object model development, client object model, and SharePoint designer development. Additionally, candidates should be intimately familiar with industry accepted best practices related to design, development and deployment of SharePoint solutions.
• Awareness and understanding of the 3rd party ecosystem of products and technologies surrounding SharePoint.
• Experience with the configuration and administration of SharePoint 2007 and 2010
• Ability to troubleshoot issues related to custom SharePoint applications and general SharePoint related issues.

Responsibilities

Requirements
- BA/BS/BFA or above preferred in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interface, Graphic Design, or other design field or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing for web and mobile interfaces/interactions
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop and the CS5 suite
- Mobile/Responsive design experience preferred
- A diverse web-based portfolio that showcases your work
- Proven ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale to both clients and SD team members

Qualified candidates will have extensive experience replicating design comps into web applications using CSS and HTML requiring a keen eye for design and a comprehensive understanding of CSS and inheritance as well as managing cross browser quirks. In addition Javascript and JQuery expertise would be beneficial. Familiarity and experience with platforms like Wordpress, Magento and/or Drupal is certainly a plus but not required. You will be part of a nimble team working in an aggressive, fast-paced environment. You’ll help with requirements gathering and participate on product design.
The Front End Developer will be taking tasks from our issue queue and working with the guidance of our senior developer. These tasks will range from front-end work (WordPress / Magento theming) to back end development (Depending on the candidates desire to explore this avenue). You will work in a local development environment where you and the senior developer can review code before it is pushed to our staging site for QA review. Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks (but not limited to):
- WordPress, Magento / Drupal Theming
- Participate in requirements gathering and product design
- Deployment of new WordPress / Magento sites
- Improve existing WordPress / Magento sites
Essential Experience
- Ability to work in a team environment, from making pixel perfect sites that meet the design requirements to integrating code with the back-end development team
- Working knowledge of Photoshop; able to cutup comps from the design team
- Deep understanding of CSS inheritance and how to use it to your advantage
- A good ideology for managing maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code across large sites
- Familiar with source control principles and comfortable with Subversion
- In-depth knowledge of IE quirks and how to address them

Something Digital is currently seeking a collaborative, hands-on Content Strategist to join our ever-expanding Interactive team. As a key member of the team you will be required to use your creativity and knowledge to balance and solve user, business, and technical content needs. You will play a vital role in creating and implementing interactive products for a wide variety of clients. You should be comfortable directing a team and educating clients when it comes to content strategy, as well as producing detailed deliverables.
Typical deliverables include:
- Research: audits, gap analysis, competitive assessments, user and stakeholder interviews, etc.
- Publishing Strategy: vision, mobile, social, search, tone / voice, monetization, etc.
- Structure: navigation, taxonomy, metadata schema, ontology, etc.
- Implementation: publishing workflows, content requirements, migration plans, governance, etc.
- Optimization: content ROI analysis, keyword ranking analysis, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Help build and evolve SD’s content strategy program
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, Business Analyst, Project Managers and the Online Marketing and Digital Strategy Manager to create project scopes, schedules, and road maps
- Plan and create Content Strategy deliverables
- Present and discuss deliverables with clients
- Educate and sell content strategy to clients

Qualifications:
